Aqua with Prints in Green and Teal

The patterned papers inspired the colors and design for today's card.  I like the teal plaid and green/ teal leaf prints together with the swirl-textured card base.  A stamped leaf connects the sentiment banner with the overall theme.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) spring moss (light green) and aqua mist. 
• Patterned paper is from Memory Box garden folly 6x6" paper pad. 
• Embossing folder is Cuttlebug d'vine swirls (retired).
• Die is from PTI keep it simple frames.
• The sentiment "thank you" is from PTI keep it simple: thank you II (retired), and the leaf is from Winnie & Walter in a word: thanks (retired), stamped with PTI Hawaiian shores (turquoise) and ocean tides (muted teal) inks.

Oval with Green and Tan

To use more leaves cut from this card's scrap squares, I chose an oval on a label shaped mat.  The die cut leaf shapes are repeated with the stamped green leaf and the leaf print card base.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) vintage jadeite (medium green), pinefeather (dark green), and rustic cream. 
• Patterned paper is from PTI fine linen (tan) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired). 
• Die is PTI heart-2-heart #12 (retired).
  
• The sentiment "thank you" is from Hero Arts sending smiles and the leaf is from PTI tag-its #12 (retired), stamped with PTI vintage jadeite and pinefeather inks.

Red Bird with Green Leaves

Yesterday's card left me with some squares of green, the scrap cuts from the triple frame die.  I used them to cut the leaves for today's card.  The red bird and "hello" brighten my dark blue and kraft panel.

• Card stock is Neenah desert storm (light kraft) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) pure poppy (red), enchanted evening (dark blue), and vintage jadeite (green).
• Embossing folder is Lifestyle Crafts diamonds and dots.

Spring Trio in Green with Purple

A trio of springtime words and images.  Three shades of green with three purple flowers in a triple frame.  I like the purple accents on the tone-on-tone green panel. The dotted purple card base adds more impact. 

 Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) mint julep (light green) and vintage jadeite (medium green).
• Patterned paper is from PTI winter wisteria (purple) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired). 
• Dies are from Memory Box fancy blossoms (retired) and PTI take three.
  
• The bunny and leaf images and the sentiment "spring time" are from PTI take three: spring (retired), and "happy" is from PTI communique sentiments (retired), stamped with PTI vintage jadeite and new leaf (deeper green) inks.
• I used a purple gel pen to add the details of flower centers, bunny eye, and leaf veins.

Hexagon and Chevron Birthday

A bright birthday card with hexagon and chevron shapes and textures. The script sentiment font adds some curves, in contrast with the many angles.

• Card stock is Neenah baronial ivory (pale yellow) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) terra cotta tile (rusty red) and limeade ice (green). 
• Patterned paper is from Memory Box garden folly 6x6" paper pad. 
• Embossing folder is The Paper Studio chevron.
  
• Die is PTI you've been framed: hexagon.
  
• The sentiment "wish big" is from PTI big & bold wishes (retired), and the stars are from PTI let freedom ring (retired), stamped with PTI terra cotta tile and ocean tides (muted teal) inks.

Teal and Green Stems on Aqua Shimmer

Lovely and serene, with a textured shimmer background, die cut stems, and a pierced sentiment panel.  The offset layout gives some sense of movement to the design.

 Card details:

• Card stock is Paper Source spruce (dark green), PS peacock (bluish teal), Papertrey Ink (PTI) sea (aqua) shimmer, and PTI stamper's select white. 
• Dies are from PTI stitched rectangles, PTI bold borders: wave (for the embossed card base), Memory Box floral vine (peacock stems), and Savvy Stamps tall branches with leaves (spruce stems).
• The sentiment "sending sincere" is from PTI never enough: thanks (retired), and "sympathy" is from PTI botanical silhouettes (retired), stamped with PTI blueberry sky (medium blue) and tropical teal inks to match the card stock.
