Red and Blue Banners - Hi

Lots of texture and pattern with strong colors and a simple layout.  For the Operation Write Home midweek challenge "so sentimental," using a sentiment as focal point. 

Card details:

• Card stock is Ellen Hutson white linen, Papertrey Ink (PTI) spring rain (light blue), pure poppy (red), and the bitty dots print from PTI enchanted evening (dark blue) pattern pack.
• Baker's twine is by We R Memory Keepers.
• I used foam tape to pop up the white label shape over the twine. 
• Embossing folder is Darice plaid.
• Dies are PTI sketched shapes (notched banners), block alphabet, block alphabet upper, and tea for two (label).

Created for Operation Write Home, "supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them." (284)
