To make these multicolor cards, I cut the circle grids from six each of muted colors (above) and bright colors (below). After inlaying the circle cuts, I had twelve cards, each with a different background color and five assorted circle colors. It was a fun way to make a batch of cards! Most will be sent to our church shut-ins, with a few extras for Operation: Quiet Comfort.
Card details:
- Card stock (muted version) is Papertrey Ink (PTI) cocoa bean (brown), Americana (rustic red), prairie grass (green), canyon clay (orangey brown), honey nut (golden brown), ocean tides (muted teal), and vintage cream.
- Card stock (bright version) is Papertrey Ink (PTI) harvest gold (yellow), lilac grace, vintage jadeite (green), hibiscus burst (pink), melon berry (light orange), blueberry sky (blue), and stamper's select white.
- Dies are PTI cover plate: circles, double-ended banners (muted version), and sketched shapes (bright version).
- For the muted version, the sentiment "thinking of you" is from PTI keep it simple: thinking of you (top left) or Hero Arts everyday sayings (top right), stamped with PTI prairie grass ink cube.
- For the bright version, the sentiment and flower are from Hero Arts everyday sayings, stamped with PTI hibiscus burst ink cube. I added yellow and green to the flower with colored pencils.
