I started with the aqua and orangey brown colors, which went well with the yellow-orange gingham background. Then I wanted a fourth color for an accent and first tried a darker brown (PTI dark chocolate), but it looked too heavy. The lighter PTI cocoa bean was a better brown for this card. I like the color combination and the mix of straight lines, angles, and curvy script.
Card details:
- Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) canyon clay (orangey brown), cocoa bean (brown), and aqua mist.
- Patterned paper is from PTI summer sunrise (yellow-orange) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired).
- Dies are from PTI huge thanks (word and shadow) and diagonals (chevrons), which cuts six chevron shapes and is easy to reposition and chain cut for a longer set.
