Two Quilt Cards on Light Gray

Two quilt cards with different color schemes.  I always enjoy choosing the colors and prints to create these designs.

Card details:
  • Card stock is Paper Source grape (purple - retired) and pool (dull turquoise) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) lovely lady (pink), Hawaiian shores (bright turquoise), enchanted evening (dark blue), pure poppy (red), summer sunrise (yellow-orange), and soft stone (light gray).
  • Patterned paper is from Pink Paislee pen pals 6 x 6" pad (red dots), Avery Elle everyday collection 6 x 6" paper (white stars on aqua - retired), and Doodlebug patriotic picnic 6x6" paper pad (red and turquoise stars).
  • Dies are PTI county fair quilt block and star gazer (yellow sun shape).
  • I used a Fiskars 1/4" star hand punch for the purple center star and EK Success 5/16" circle punch for the pink circle.
  • The sentiment "praying for you" is from PTI keep it simple: praying for you, stamped with PTI weathervane (medium gray) or enchanted evening ink.
These "praying for you" cards will be sent to our church shut-ins.  I also made a few "thinking of you" in the brighter color scheme for Operation: Quiet Comfort.
