Today's card started with the patterned paper and the light green card base, then a navy blue square to give the patterned square more definition. The bright white color and alternating size circles of the border strip added interest and continued the circle motif. Next I stamped some circle stems, carefully placed within the die shapes, and a sentiment with curves and straight lines in its fonts. The navy strip behind the white gives a foundation to the focal area. I like the modern, graphic style and the mix of colors.
Card details:
- Card stock is Hero Arts celadon (light green) layering paper and Papertrey Ink (PTI) enchanted evening (dark blue/ navy) and stamper's select white.
- Patterned paper is from Pink & Main not too spooky 6 x 6" paper pad.
- Die is PTI simple circles border.
- The circle stem images are from PTI grunge me (retired) and the sentiment "thinking of you" is from PTI take three: spring (retiring), stamped with PTI enchanted evening ink.
