Today's card started with the multicolored patterned paper. I thought of butterflies on a green vine or a trellis shape like the paper's squares, and then the square textures of the embossing folder came next. I chose my card stock colors to match the paper. I like the finished card, different from my usual.
Card details:
- Card stock is Hero Arts punch (red) and cerulean (deep blue) layering paper, Paper Source poppy (orange), and Papertrey Ink (PTI) vintage jadeite (green), harvest gold (yellow), and blue shimmer (light blue).
- Patterned paper is Little Yellow Bicycle baby safari: small squares 12 x 12", from the free table at my card making group.
- Embossing folder is Stampin' Up square lattice (retired).
- For the butterflies, I used the EK Success small butterfly punch and a die, Impression Obsession butterfly set (retired). The "hello" word is from Elizabeth Craft. The green "trellis" die is My Favorite Things retro squares (retired).
