Sponged Sun with Blue Accents

Something very different for me - a sponged sun filling almost all of my card front.  It's for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday challenge for ink blending through diecut masks.  I cut a single triangle in the middle of an A2 piece of vellum, then used it to sponge and blend the rays in three colors of yellow ink.  The pinked circle was also sponged and blended.

It was interesting to try this technique as I'm still a beginner at sponging and blending.  I like the bold yellow sun shape with the accents in blue.

What a cool card Cindy! For being a beginner with blending, I think you did a fabulous job, and I absolutely love your sunshine made with the triangles! Perfect touch with the blue accents too! Well done!! :0)
