Flowers in Pint Jar

This is one of my favorite cards that I've created.  It was for a friend's January birthday.  Beautiful colors, and I love all the detail of textures, shading, and patterns.

Card details:
  • Card stock is Paper Source poppy (medium orange) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) berry sorbet (pink), new leaf (green), kraft, and aqua mist, with a script print from PTI Dearest Jane and leaves print from the aqua mist pattern pack.
  • Dies are Poppystamps blooming posie, PTI heart-2-heart #12 (leaflets), and PTI pint jar.
  • Punches are Martha Stewart ribbon bow and EK Success circles: 3/4" under the orange bow, 3/8" for the flower centers.
  • Embossing folder is Stampin' Up! square lattice
  • I used Copic markers BG10 (several layers) across the jar neck and on its edges, and E43 on the bow,  flower centers, and bottom edge of the script print.
Edited to add: Since making the original card, I've made a few more for Operation Write Home, "supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them." (245)
