Although I changed the colors and shapes, I kept many things the same: the ribbon threaded through slots in a simple white shape, the sentiment in black, the embossed kraft background, and the accents coordinating with the ribbon color. It was fun using some elements and tools that were popular in 2007 - though I was happy to use modern dies, which I like much better than the old-style punches!
Card details:
- Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) classic kraft, Hawaiian shores (turquoise), and stamper's select white.
- Ribbon is 3/4" and is probably made by May Arts. In real life, the ribbon and star colors work well together.
- Embossing folder is Darice stars asst (assorted).
- Dies are PTI cover plate: stars and limitless layers: 1-3/4" circles.
- Slot punch is similar to this one.
- The sentiment "thank you" is from PTI communique sentiments, stamped with PTI true black ink cube.
