- Circles: Cards where I used my circle dies or punches to make dots or windows on the card. Sometimes a shape to write or draw in. Sometimes layered for scallops or flowers.
- Homemade patterned paper: Papers with patterns I created with hand cut stamps, marbled ink effects, hand drawn plaids, or other "home made" designs.
- Monochromatic: Cards with all (or almost all) one color.
- No sentiment: I think of the sentiment as a visual element, and not every layout seems to need one. All of my cards for Operation Write Home (see below) are blank inside. Some have a brief sentiment on the card front. Others don't, hence the "no sentiment" label. They can be sent for varied occasions, or just as a note card.
- Operation Write Home: Cards created for Operation Write Home, "supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them."
