Aqua Plaid with Red Dots and Teal

A bright card in a graphic style.  The embossing folder's dots and lines work well with the plaid patterned paper and the dotted die cut.  My small sentiment banner fits nicely over a few of the cutout diamonds.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) pure poppy (red), tropical teal, and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is from PTI aqua mist bitty big pattern pack.
• Embossing folder is Lifestyle Crafts diamonds and dots.
  
• Dies are from PTI countdown details (banner - retired) and My Favorite Things double dot border (retired).
  
• The sentiment "just a note" is from PTI ribbon tails (retired), stamped with PTI tropical teal ink.

Red, White, and Blue with Tan Hexagon

A muted red, white, and blue star print, with a large tan hexagon for the stamped sentiment. 

Card details:

• Card stock is My Favorite Things blueberry (dark blue), and Papertrey Ink (PTI) Americana (rustic red) and fine linen (tan). 
• Patterned paper is star stripes 12 x 12" by The Paper Studio, from my card making group's "free" table.
• Die is from PTI two toned.
• The sentiment "thankful for you always" is from Ink to Paper/PTI just sentiments: appreciation, stamped with PTI Americana ink.

Purple and Yellow Butterfly with Doily

A layered butterfly and a lacy doily.  The purple, yellow, and cream make an elegant color combination for a friend's birthday card. 

Card details:

• Card stock is Hero Arts eggshell (cream) layering paper and Papertrey Ink (PTI) lilac grace (light purple), amethyst allure (medium purple), and gold shimmer.
• Embossing folder is Stampin' Up subtle (retired).
  
• Dies are from PTI life is beautiful (layered butterfly) and Parisian lace doily (retired).
• The inside sentiment "happy birthday" is from PTI think big favorites #12 (retired), stamped with PTI amethyst allure ink.

Tan with Gray Plaid

Bold orangey-brown elements bring some drama to the tan card base and the drab gray plaid.   

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) canyon clay (orangey brown) and fine linen (tan). 
• Patterned paper is from PTI three piece suit A2 paper collection (retired).
• Die is from Ink to Paper/PTI to die for sentiments: cursive thanks. 
• I also used the EK Success comic asterisk punch.

Green Wreath with Purple

Another card with purple today.  I like the contrast of the plaid card base with the curving wreath and sentiment font.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) simply chartreuse (green) and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is from PTI amethyst allure (purple) bitty big pattern pack.
• The sentiment "thank you so much" is from PTI sentiment staples: thank you (retired), the green wreath is two stems from Altenew wings of hope (stamped twice), and the purple leaflets are from PTI out on a limb revised (retired), stamped with PTI simply chartreuse and amethyst allure inks.
