Lavender and Silver Tag on Blue

I tried for a better image of this card, but my die cut embellishments (shiny silver, not blotchy black!) wouldn't cooperate.  I like the textures and colors.  Though I don't often use tags on my cards, I enjoyed creating this one.

Card details:

  • Card stock is Bazzill silver metallic foil and Papertrey Ink (PTI) lavender moon and sapphire (blue) shimmer.  I used the back of the foil cardstock for my white star insert.
  • Embossing folders are Stampin' Up petals-a-plenty and subtle (both retired).
  • Dies are Memory Box Charlotte border (retired), PTI fancy flakes, and PTI tag sale # 6 (retired).
  • Embroidery floss is DMC 970.

Pink Teapot with Yellow and Turquoise

A bright "congratulations" retirement card, for a family member. She'll soon have more time to sit back and enjoy a cup of tea.

Card details:

  • Card stock is Paper Source strawberry (pink).
  • Patterned papers are from Papertrey Ink (PTI) in bloom 8 x 8 paper pad (pink - retired), and  PTI Hawaiian shores (turquoise) and harvest gold (yellow) pattern packs (tone-on-tone prints - retired).
  • Dies are PTI tea for two (retired) and wonderful words: congrats
  • I used Copic marker RV34 to darken parts of the teapot.

Christmas Card 2023

For my Christmas card this year, I chose a Nativity angel, redrawn from my 2022 Advent calendar.  It's computer-printed with a white border on Neenah solar white card stock.  For a clearer view, click here for my Peace Angel post on my drawing blog.

Since 2010, I've used one of my annual Nativity drawings for the card fronts. This year's greeting inside is "Wishing you peace and joy at Christmas."  To see past years' Christmas cards that I've drawn, click here, then scroll down.
