Aqua Dots with Black and White

Two black and white prints accent the dotted aqua.  In real life, my aqua, turquoise, and teal colors work well together.  

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) Hawaiian shores (medium turquoise) and tropical teal (deepest color). 
• Patterned papers are a bitty dot print from PTI aqua mist pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired), a plaid print from PTI true black bitty big pattern pack, and a diagonal stripe from My Favorite Things black & white basics 6 x 6" pad (retired).
  
• Dies are from PTI stars & stripes (large and medium star shapes) and Birch Press sugar script thanks. 
• I used an EK Success star punch for the small patterned paper star.

Leaf Print with Brown and Green on Cream

The leaf print paper inspired the colors and sentiment stamping for this card.  I like the varied width of the green and brown layers.  The leaf stamp adds visual weight to the sentiment and helps relate it to the patterned paper. 

Note: the gray border is background, not part of the card.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) dark chocolate (brown), ripe avocado (green), and rustic cream.
• Patterned paper is from PTI turning a new leaf 8x8" pad (retiring).
• The sentiment "thankful for you always" is from Ink to Paper/PTI just sentiments: appreciation, and the leaf is from PTI turning a new leaf (retired), stamped with PTI ripe avocado ink.

Tree on Blue and Green

A very simple design, stamped on two colors of card stock.  I like it a lot.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) spring moss (light green) and spring rain (blue).  I joined the two halves (taped on the back) before stamping. 
• Die is from PTI noted: simply stitched A2 vertical.
• The sentiment "just a note" is from PTI winter woods (retired), and the tree is from PTI through the trees (retired), stamped with PTI cocoa bean (brown) and new leaf (green) inks. 
• If needed where the stamping crosses between the blue and green card stocks, I touched up the tree trunk with Micron 05 brown gel pen.  I made a batch of these cards, and most didn't need touch up.

Yellow-Orange Stars with Blue and Red

Strong color contrasts on a varied-size dotted print, accented with an inlaid diagonal row of solid color stars.

Card details:

• Card stock is My Favorite Things red hot, Paper Source lake (blue), and Papertrey Ink (PTI) summer sunrise (yellow-orange). 
• Patterned paper is from PTI comic strip A2 paper pack (retired).
• Dies are PTI cover plate: stars and MFT many thanks.

Teal and Aqua Butterfly with Yellow

A bright sunshine themed card.  The butterfly's zigzag print works well with the gingham sentiment panel.  I like the slight offset of the butterfly's layers, showing a bit of teal at the sides.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) lemon tart (yellow) and tropical teal. 
• Patterned paper is from Avery Elle everyday collection 6 x 6" paper (retired).
  
• Dies are from PTI life is beautiful (butterfly - retired), Pretty Pink Posh sunshine script (retired), and Altenew trigonometry (for the dot on the i) .

Goldfinch with Multicolor Dots on Orange

For this cheerful card, I chose a bright goldfinch and a patterned paper strip of multicolored dots.  The light orange base gives it a touch of autumn for an October anniversary.

Card details:

• Card stock is Paper Source poppy (light orange) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) new leaf (green) and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is from Reverse Confetti cue the confetti 6x6" pad (retired). 
• Dies are from PTI spring woods and Savvy Stamps tall branches with leaves.
• The sentiment "happy anniversary" is from PTI keep it simple: anniversary, and the bird is from PTI spring woods, stamped with PTI bright buttercup (yellow) ink and Versafine onyx black pigment ink.

Plaid on Green Stripes with Arrow

The dark plaid with its green weave makes a good background for my bright green word and arrow shapes, all on a muted green stripe.  Monochromatic and bold.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) limeade ice (bright green).
• Patterned papers are a stripe from PTI spring moss (muted green) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and a plaid from PTI three piece suit A2 paper collection (retired).

Yellow with Red on Tan Woodgrain

Country style patterns on a textured wood grain background, for a homey look.  I like the sentiment label's bottom corners set against the red stripes.

• Card stock is Essentials by Ellen tan woodgrain and Papertrey Ink (PTI) lemon tart (light yellow). 
• Patterned papers are from Bo Bunny firecracker 6 x 6" pad (retired).
• Die is PTI fillable frames #10.
  
• The sentiment "grateful for you" is from PTI enclosed: leaf (retired), stamped with PTI dark chocolate (brown) ink.

Red Plaid on Gray Stars

Handsome gray textures with a deep red plaid.

Card details:

• Card stock is Paper Source gravel (medium gray) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) smokey shadow (dark gray) and soft stone (light gray). 
• Patterned paper is unknown, from the "free" table at our monthly card making group.  I edged it with Copic marker T7.
  
• Embossing folder is Darice stars asst (assorted).
  
• Dies are PTI huge thanks and photo finish (retired).
