Orange with Muted Teal

Two print rectangles and a sentiment strip.  I like the busy damask pattern in muted teal to balance the airier polka dots and the bright orange color.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) orange zest and stamper's select white.
• Patterned paper is from PTI ocean tides (muted teal) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and PTI polka dot parade 8 x 8" paper, grande scale.
• Die is from PTI double ended banners.
• The sentiment "just a note" is from PTI keep it simple: just a note (retired), stamped with PTI ocean tides ink.

Yellow Floral with Orange

With the stamps set up in my MISTI for yesterday's pink card, I switched the sentiment and stamped a few more using yellow and orange inks. The patterned papers make a good background for the floral panel. 

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is from PTI harvest gold (medium yellow) and orange zest pattern packs (tone-on-tone prints - retired). 
• The flowers are from PTI floral fusion (no longer available), the leaves are from PTI turning a new leaf (retired), and the sentiment "praying for you" is from PTI keep it simple: praying for you (retired), stamped with PTI bright buttercup (deep yellow), orange zest, and green parakeet inks. 
• I added the center dots in the small flowers with a white gel pen.

Pink Floral with Ribbon

I enjoyed arranging and stamping these pretty pink flowers. The pink ribbon knot makes a nice accent.

 Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) lovely lady (medium pink) and stamper's select white. 
• Ribbon is 3/8" satin.
  
• The flowers are from PTI floral fusion (no longer available), the leaves are from PTI turning a new leaf (retired), and the sentiment "happy birthday" is from PTI think big favorites #12 (retired), stamped with PTI lovely lady, raspberry fizz (deep pink), and green parakeet inks. 
• I added the center dots in the small flowers with a white gel pen.

Multi Stripes on Green

Starting with the bright multi stripe patterned paper, I chose a few colors of card stock to border it and the sentiment strip.

Card details:

• Card stock is My Favorite Things tropical teal, and Papertrey Ink (PTI) simply chartreuse (green), fine linen (tan), and canyon clay (orangey brown). 
• Patterned paper is by October Afternoon, from our monthly card making group's "free" table.
  
• The sentiment "thanks" is from PTI thanks all ways (retired).  I used PTI green parakeet ink, which matches my simply chartreuse card base when stamped onto the tan color.

Bright colors, bold prints side by side, and a very simple layout.

• Patterned paper is from My Favorite Things stars and stripes 6x6" paper pad. 
• Die is from PTI double ended banners.

Stenciled Stars on Kraft

Lots of swooshes and swirls in the stenciled stars, dots, and lines, the bright card base, and the wavy sentiment banner.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) summer sunrise (yellow-orange), terra cotta tile (rusty red), classic kraft, and vintage cream. 
• Embossing folder (card base) is Cuttlebug d'vine swirls (retired).
  
• The kraft card stock is embossed with a stencil from PTI night sky background set.  See this post for the technique and warnings.
• After embossing, I stenciled the design with PTI terra cotta tile and dark chocolate (brown) inks, using the round Ranger ink blending tool. 
• Die is from PTI banner style.
  
• The sentiment "just a note" is from PTI winter woods (retired), stamped with PTI dark chocolate ink.

Plaid with Purple and Turquoise

A multicolor plaid with a purple border layer and a striped turquoise card base.  The dark border helps to ground the bright plaid, while using one of its colors.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) plum pudding (purple) and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is a stripe from PTI Hawaiian shores (turquoise) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and a plaid from Pink & Main not too spooky (retired) 6 x 6" paper pad.
  
• Die is from PTI bountiful banners.
  
• The sentiment "thank you" is from PTI keep it simple: thank you II, stamped with PTI true black ink.

Aqua, Teal, and Silver - Sympathy

A simple layout of monochromatic strips.  The card's interest comes from the variety of scalloped edging, silver stripe (sparkly in real life), patterns, and textures.

Card details:

• Card stock is Neenah solar white, Stampin' Up soft sky (aqua), and Papertrey Ink (PTI) ocean tides (muted teal).
• Patterned paper is a bitty dot print from PTI ocean tides pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and a stripe from Memory Box garden folly 6x6" paper pad.
• Embossing folder is Stampin' Up subtle (retired).
  
• The sparkly silver strip is Tim Holtz deco sheets (retired).
• Die is from PTI edgers #3 (retired). 
• The banner is cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
  
• The sentiment "with sympathy" is from PTI keep it simple: sympathy (retired), stamped with PTI ocean tides ink.

Polka Dots with Teal Banner

A large diecut word with some leaves, in shimmer card stock on patterned paper.  It's all that is needed.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) sun shimmer (yellow-orange - grateful) and gold shimmer (light yellow - thankful). 
• Patterned paper is from PTI terra cotta tile (rusty red) and enchanted evening (blue) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired).
