Teal Hello with Aqua and Purple

I like the combination of teal and aqua card stock with the purple print.  

Card details:

• Card stock is Paper Source pool (aqua), and Papertrey Ink (PTI) tropical teal.
  
• Patterned paper is  PTI plum pudding (purple) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired).
• Embossing folder is Stampin' Up subtle (retired).
• Dies are PTI wonderful words: hello (retired) and PTI eyelet lace.

Goldfinch with Black and White Dots

Strong contrast gives interest to this monochromatic card.  

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) stamper's select white.
  
• Patterned paper is from PTI lemon tart (light yellow) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and true black bitty big pattern pack.
• Die is from PTI spring woods (retired).
• The bird is from PTI spring woods (retired), and the sentiment "happy birthday" is from PTI little labels (retired), stamped with PTI bright buttercup (deep yellow) ink and Versafine onyx black ink.

Floral with Pastels

Two cards using preprinted flowers and leaves from an old kit.  I enjoyed making these pastel floral designs.  

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) mint julep (light green) and lemon tart (yellow). 
• Patterned paper is from PTI aqua mist pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and lilac grace bitty big pattern pack.
• Dies are from PTI edgers #3 (retired) and color pop florals kit.  
• The preprinted flowers and leaves are from PTI color pop florals kit. 
  
• The sentiment "spring greetings" is from PTI take three: spring (retired), stamped with PTI mint julep and new leaf (deeper green) inks, and "with sympathy" is from PTI keep it simple: sympathy (retired), stamped with PTI tropical teal ink.

Doily with Red Heart or Blue Bird

Two cards with the same simple design.  Silver shimmery card base, with half of a white doily, a strip of dotted paper, and a bird or heart as focal point.  I like them both. 

Card details:

• Card stock is Neenah solar white, Paper Source royal blue, and Papertrey Ink (PTI) pure poppy (red) and silver shimmer. 
• Patterned paper is from PTI smokey shadow (dark gray) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and PTI blueberry sky (medium blue) "+ white basics" patterned paper (retired). 
• Dies are from PTI heart prints (retired), peace be still (dove), and Parisian lace doily (retired).  I used half of a doily on each card.  
• I used a McGill 1/16" circle punch for the birds' eye.

Blue and Orange - Hexagons

A bright color scheme for a family member's birthday card.  All the hexagon shapes work well together. 

Card details:

• Card stock is Paper Source royal blue and Papertrey Ink (PTI) pure poppy (red), orange zest, bright buttercup (yellow), new leaf (green), winter wisteria (purple), Hawaiian shores (turquoise), and stamper's select white. 
• Embossing folder is Darice honeycomb.
• Dies are PTI two toned (large hexagon) and multiples (small inlaid hexagons - retired). 
• I trimmed 1/8" from each side of the white hexagon to make my smaller top layer. 
  
• The sentiment "happy birthday" is from PTI communique sentiments (retired), and the star pattern is from PTI bitty background blocks II (retired), stamped with PTI blueberry sky (medium) and orange zest inks.
