Bright Pink and Aqua Flowers with Doily

I went way outside my comfort zone on today's card!  Too busy, too bright for anything I would have dreamed up.  But that's the fun of a challenge.  Thank you to Debbie for the bold example on her inspiring blog, Thinking Inking.  And to Nichole and Papertrey Ink for ten days of 6th Anniversary challenges.  I made this card for the project favorites challenge

Card details:
  • Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) aqua mist (light aqua), Hawaiian shores (turquoise), raspberry fizz (bright pink), ripe avocado (green), and prints from the Hawaiian shores, raspberry fizz, and sweet blush (light pink) pattern packs.   Also a paper doily.
  •  Dies are beautiful blooms II #3, take three, and heart-2-heart #12.
  • I used a 1/4" hole punch for the flower centers.
Created for Operation Write Home, "supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them." (254)
