Stripes and Rickrack - Red, White, and Blue with Kraft

My card today is for Papertrey Ink's monthly Create Along with Us challenge.  I chose Nichole Heady's colorful striped design, the second card posted here.  Instead of a gap in the striped panel, I covered my seam with a white rickrack die cut.  Though I made several changes, it's easy to see the origins of my card!  Thank you, Nichole, for your inspiration!

Card details:
  • Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) dark indigo (navy), classic kraft, pure poppy (red), blueberry sky (medium blue), and stamper's select white.
  • Twine is by WeRMemoryKeepers.
  • Dies are PTI wonderful words: hello and XL rickrack border.
  • Top and bottom right corners are rounded with Crop-a-Dile 1/2" corner chomper.  The rounding is smooth in real life, not cropped like my image.
Created for Operation: Quiet Comfort.

I love this and I must say, in any colors, this style suits you well! I was thinking how much you would enjoy the rainbow card and I love what you've done.
