Red, White, and Blue - Thank Yous with Red Plaid

Today's card started with the lined notebook patterned paper.  Its gray lines and linen texture look faint in my image, but can be seen better in real life.  I stamped it with red and blue "thank you" sentiments in various fonts, then cut it with a pinking edge die.  The dark blue strip helps anchor it and gives the eye a resting place.

I had planned to place my panel vertically on the red plaid, but then I noticed how good it looked where it fell at an angle. A happy accident!  Diagonals often seem to add energy to my card designs.
