An angled tag with stamped die cut stars and a knot of striped baker's twine.  A dotted red strip helps to anchor the tag on the textured aqua card base.

Lattice Squares - Aqua with Teal and Blue

The textured background makes a good setting for the stamped lattice squares.  A handsome monochromatic card.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) aqua mist, tropical teal, enchanted evening (dark blue), and stamper's select white. 
• Embossing folder is Stampin' Up square lattice (retired).  I used the debossed side of the card stock.
• Die is PTI wonderful words: hello (retired).
  
• The lattice pattern is from Concord & 9th lovely lattice turnabout, stamped with PTI Hawaiian shores (turquoise), tropical teal, blueberry sky (medium blue), and enchanted evening inks.

Red, White, and Blue Print with Ribbon

Narrow grosgrain ribbon wraps around the gray background.  Patterned paper and a sentiment banner complete the design.

 Card details:

• Card stock is My Favorite Things red hot, Paper Source royal blue, and Papertrey Ink (PTI) weathervane (gray) and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is from Doodlebug patriotic picnic 6x6" paper pad. 
• Die is from PTI sketched shapes. 
  
• Ribbon is by Offray.
  
• The "thanks" word is cut with the Silhouette Cameo, same as this card.

Leaves with Oval - Green on Aqua

A new die set with corner leaf clusters, and a very old die set with a label shape in an oval frame.  They look good together in this simple layout.

• Patterned paper is from PTI new leaf pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired).

Turquoise Flowers with Yellow

I used the same stamping layout as this card, in a bright yellow and turquoise color combination.  I like the cheerful flowers, for encouragement cards to send to some of our church members.

• Card stock is Paper Source sunshine (yellow) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) new leaf (green) and stamper's select white.
• Embossing folder is Cuttlebug Swiss dots (retired).
  
• The sentiment "thinking of you" is from Hero Arts everyday sayings (retired), and the images are from PTI corner adorner: February (retired), stamped with PTI new leaf, bright buttercup (deep yellow), and Hawaiian shores (turquoise) inks.
• I used a turquoise Copic 0.3 multiliner to add the center dots in the tiny yellow flowers.

Brown Frame Quilt on Light Green

For today's quilt block card, I used the same patterned papers as for this card, but with a brown frame and light green background, instead of blues.

Card details:

• Card stock is Paper Source leaf (light green) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) cocoa bean (brown) and rustic white. 
• Patterned papers are terra cotta tile (rusty red) gingham and pinefeather (dark green) stripe print from PTI pattern packs (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and two "petite scale" leaf prints from PTI tea leaves 8x8" pack.
  
• Dies are PTI county fair quilt block (no longer available) and PTI photo finish strips (retired). 
• I punched the center dot with an old 1/4" hole punch.
  
• The blue card stock is embossed with the PTI infinity frames die.

Red, White, and Blue Stripes with Stars

Some muted red, white, and blue stripes with stars - printed, embossed, and die cut.  In real life, the card base is a rustier red.

• Card stock is Neenah desert storm (light kraft) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) terra cotta tile (rusty red), cocoa bean (brown), and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is star stripes 12 x 12" by The Paper Studio, from my card making group's "free" table (thanks, Carol!)
  
• Embossing folder is Darice stars asst (assorted).
  
• Dies are PTI cover plate: stars and Birch Press sugar script thanks.

Leaf Border Hello - Autumn and Summer

Four cards with the same leaf border, in autumn (yellow and copper) and summer (medium and deep green) color combinations.  I like them all.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) spring rain (light blue), blueberry sky (medium blue), sun shimmer (yellow), copper shimmer, new leaf (deep green), and vintage jadeite (medium green).
• Patterned paper from PTI mint julep (light green) bitty big pattern pack.

• Dies are from PTI wonderful words: hello (retired - large word), Memory Box hello rush script, and Poppystamps brilliant leaf border.  I also added a 1/2" strip of card stock (yellow in the card above) alongside the delicate die cut.

Orange Flowers on Yellow

Bright orange flowers with rusty red centers.  I like the green sentiment for a grassy ground next to the flower stems.

Purple and Teal with Thanks Tag

My two narrow strips of pattern were clashing a bit, and the card base's third pattern helped bring them together.  I like the striped twine bow and the "thanks" tag that repeat the color scheme.

• Patterned paper is from PTI winter wisteria (light purple) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired) and Reverse Confetti cue the confetti 6x6" pad (retired).

Blue Frame Quilt on Blue

I enjoyed making an anniversary card with a quilt block in muted colors.  It's the same design as this card.

Blue Shimmer with Birds

Shimmer card stock with birds, hearts, and floral background texture for an anniversary card.  The "love" word die repeats the heart shape.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) sea shimmer (turquoise blue), raspberry shimmer (pink), and sun shimmer (yellow).
• Embossing folder is Sizzix berry splash.
• Dies are PTI hearts border (retired), heart-2-heart #9, and wonderful words: love.
• I used a McGill 1/16" circle punch for the birds' eyes.

Orange Butterfly on Bright Diagonal

Starting with the turquoise frame leftover from this card, I added some bright yellow-green and muted orange colors for a tropical look.  I like the butterfly's curves against the diagonal stripes.

Burgundy Diagonal with Turquoise and Yellow

Strong colors in strong diagonal stripes, made with die cuts.  I cut the frame in burgundy, adhered it to a yellow base, and inlaid some turquoise pieces.  The white sentiment strip breaks up the pattern, giving some rest to the eye.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) scarlet jewel (burgundy), harvest gold (yellow), Hawaiian shores (turquoise), and stamper's select white. 
• Dies are PTI cover plate: stripes diagonal and My Favorite Things vertical stitched strips (retired).
