Red, White, and Blue Label with Plaid

This design started with yesterday's leftover red and blue label shapes.  I added a white sentiment label, then layered onto a textured tan card base with a strip of red, white, and blue plaid.   

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) fine linen (tan), pure poppy (red), enchanted evening (dark blue), and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is from Pink & Main beach bum 6 x 6" pad.
• Embossing folder is Stampin' Up subtle (retired).
  
• Dies are from PTI fabulous frames (red or blue shape - retired) and framed out #2 (white shape).
• The sentiment "thank you so very much" is from PTI framed out #1 (retired), stamped with PTI enchanted evening or pure poppy ink.

Red, White, and Blue Frame with Stars

A die cut frame gave me multiple shapes to mix and match, and I added a row of white stars. 

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) pure poppy (red), enchanted evening (dark blue), and stamper's select white. 
• Patterned paper is from PTI blueberry sky (medium blue) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired). 
• Dies are from PTI fabulous frames (retired) and super star borders.  I shortened the bottom of my frame's outer rectangle.
  
• The sentiment "thankful for you always" is from Ink to Paper/PTI just sentiments: appreciation, stamped with PTI pure poppy or enchanted evening ink.

Grid Print with Kraft

A handsome monochromatic card - black, white, and kraft, accented with a rusty red layer.  I like the black and white grid print combined with the grid embossed card base.

• Patterned paper is from My Favorite Things black & white basics 6 x 6" pad (retired).

Stripe with Brown Rickrack on Blue

A bit of 3-D effect from the layered "thanks" word and the dark rickrack on diagonal striped paper.

Shimmer Wreath on Cream

A rustic, flecked cream card base decorated with shimmery shapes - brocade paper wreath, die cut leaves and "happy" word, and leaf ribbon. Rich textures and colors for a Thanksgiving theme.  

Note: the gray border is background, not part of the card.

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) copper shimmer, scarlet shimmer, sun (yellow) shimmer, and rustic cream. 
• Patterned paper is Paper Source "brocade taupe" (retired).  To change its color from taupe to a light copper, I used a round Ranger ink blending tool with PTI canyon clay (orangey brown) and lovely lady (pink) inks. 
• Leaf ribbon is from PTI.  
  
• Dies are from PTI tipped tops ("happy" word), Memory Box tender leaves (yellow leaves - retired), Impression Obsession small leaf set (scarlet leaves), Spellbinders standard circles small die collection (1-7/8" inner edge), and PTI limitless layers: 2-1/2" circles (outer edge - retired).

Red, White, and Blue Star Panel on Light Blue

For my star panel, I stamped the red lines and blue stars.  It looks crisp and clean on a light blue card base.

A simple grid-printed paper sets the graphic style for today's bright card.

Aqua Dots with Black and White

Two black and white prints accent the dotted aqua.  In real life, my aqua, turquoise, and teal colors work well together.  

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) Hawaiian shores (medium turquoise) and tropical teal (deepest color). 
• Patterned papers are a bitty dot print from PTI aqua mist pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired), a plaid print from PTI true black bitty big pattern pack, and a diagonal stripe from My Favorite Things black & white basics 6 x 6" pad (retired).
  
• Dies are from PTI stars & stripes (large and medium star shapes) and Birch Press sugar script thanks. 
• I used an EK Success star punch for the small patterned paper star.

Leaf Print with Brown and Green on Cream

The leaf print paper inspired the colors and sentiment stamping for this card.  I like the varied width of the green and brown layers.  The leaf stamp adds visual weight to the sentiment and helps relate it to the patterned paper.

Tree on Blue and Green

A very simple design, stamped on two colors of card stock.  I like it a lot.

Card details:

• Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) spring moss (light green) and spring rain (blue).  I joined the two halves (taped on the back) before stamping. 
• Die is from PTI noted: simply stitched A2 vertical.
• The sentiment "just a note" is from PTI winter woods (retired), and the tree is from PTI through the trees (retired), stamped with PTI cocoa bean (brown) and new leaf (green) inks. 
• If needed where the stamping crosses between the blue and green card stocks, I touched up the tree trunk with Micron 05 brown gel pen.  I made a batch of these cards, and most didn't need touch up.

Yellow-Orange Stars with Blue and Red

Strong color contrasts on a varied-size dotted print, accented with an inlaid diagonal row of solid color stars.

• Patterned paper is from PTI comic strip A2 paper pack (retired).

Teal and Aqua Butterfly with Yellow

A bright sunshine themed card.  The butterfly's zigzag print works well with the gingham sentiment panel.  I like the slight offset of the butterfly's layers, showing a bit of teal at the sides.

Goldfinch with Multicolor Dots on Orange

For this cheerful card, I chose a bright goldfinch and a patterned paper strip of multicolored dots.  The light orange base gives it a touch of autumn for an October anniversary.

• Patterned paper is from Reverse Confetti cue the confetti 6x6" pad (retired).

Plaid on Green Stripes with Arrow

The dark plaid with its green weave makes a good background for my bright green word and arrow shapes, all on a muted green stripe.  Monochromatic and bold.
