Diamond Quilt Button Card

Diamond shapes in a quilt-like pattern. Faux buttons in circle and heart shapes. Pastels on a rich, deep background color.

The button shapes are punched with a 3/4" circle and 1" heart punch (EK Success). The thread is drawn with wine Copic 0.3 multiliner. The buttonholes are drawn with black 1.0 multiliner, shaded with C5 gray Copic marker. The diamonds are 1-1/4" squares.

My card stock is Papertrey Ink lemon tart (yellow), spring rain (blue), and scarlet jewel (wine card base), and Paper Source sage (green) and blossom (pink).

Created for Operation Write Home, "supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them." (076)
