Green Topiary Tree

This card started with some leftover strips of rustic white card stock.  It was a good challenge for me to create a design for the long narrow space.  I'm very happy with the result!

Card details:
  • Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) green parakeet (bright yellow-green) and rustic white.
  • Patterned paper is the bitty dot print from PTI new leaf (green) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired).
  • Embroidery floss is DMC #920.  I pierced holes just outside the bitty dot layer and used two wraps of three threads each, knotted.
  • The tree pot and stem are from PTI everyday button bits (retired), stamped with PTI classic kraft and terra cotta tile (rusty red) ink cubes.
  • The horizontal line is drawn with Copic 0.3 sepia multiliner.
  • The green circles are from PTI bits & buttons (retired), stamped with PTI new leaf (for the plaid circles) and green parakeet (for the solid circles layered on top of the plaid) ink cubes
  • The sentiment "thinking of you" is from PTI stuck on you, stamped with PTI new leaf ink cube.
Created for Operation: Quiet Comfort.
