Yellow Floral on Kraft with Brown and Cream

For a friend who loves antiques, a vintage style card with a floral design in yellow, her favorite color.

Card details:
  • Card stock is Neenah desert storm (kraft) and Papertrey Ink (PTI) cocoa bean (brown) and rustic cream.
  • Embossing folder is The Paper Studio script (retired).
  • Twine is gold Treasure Braid TR63.  To keep it from slipping, I notched the edges of the card stock with a 1/8" hole punch.
  • Dies are from PTI noted: simply stitched A2 vertical and noted: pinked A2 vertical
  • The sentiment "happy birthday" is from PTI keep it simple: birthday, and the image is from PTI in bloom, stamped with Memento rich cocoa (brown) ink.
  • I colored the flower and leaves with Copic markers YG05, G14, G40, Y15, Y19, Y38, and YR15 and some very old Venus Spectracolor pencils in canary yellow and yellow-orange.
