Notebook Thank You - Red, White, and Blue

A whimsical notebook page with a serious Fourth of July sentiment - I'm very thankful for our country's freedoms and for the heroes who protect us.

I like the "hand drawn" style of the sentiment and doodle stamps for my notebook effect.  The angled red layers add to the picture of a just-written note.

Card details:
  • Card stock is Neenah solar white and Papertrey Ink (PTI) pure poppy (red).
  • Patterned papers are the polka dot print from PTI blueberry sky (medium blue) bitty big pattern pack and two of my computer-printed patterns - red, white, and blue stripes, and a light aqua grid for the notebook page, both printed on Neenah.  The notebook grid is barely visible in my image, but just right in real life.
  • Die is from PTI ink it in: notebook.
  • The flowers/leaves and the sentiment "thank you" are from Hero Arts everyday sayings, the triple dot is from PTI counting my blessings, and the squiggly line is from PTI pencilgrams, stamped with PTI enchanted evening (dark blue) and pure poppy inks
  • The flower centers are colored with Copic 0.3 red and cobalt (dark blue) multiliners.
Created for Operation: Quiet Comfort.
