Two-Toned Green Stems with Burgundy and Yellow

I wanted to make a tall stamped panel with two-toned green stems.  It was easy to choose the narrow green border and light yellow damask card base.  But then I wrestled with the sentiment.  This "just a note" stamp was the perfect size and weight to place against the stems.  I tried it in green, dark gray, brown, dark blue, and more... they just didn't look right.  Then finally, I thought of burgundy.  Love it with some tiny berry clusters.  It's bright and rich enough to stand out, but with the berries, it seems to belong there.  I'm very happy with the final card!

Card details:
  • Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) new leaf (green) and stamper's select white.
  • Patterned paper is the damask print from PTI lemon tart (yellow) pattern pack (tone-on-tone prints - retired).
  • The stems are from PTI life (retired) and larger than life (retired), stamped with PTI green parakeet (lighter green) and new leaf (deeper green) inks.
  • The sentiment "just a note" is from Hero Arts many everyday messages, and the dot cluster is from PTI corner adorner: February, stamped with PTI scarlet jewel (burgundy) ink.
Created for Operation: Quiet Comfort.
