A collection of geometric shapes - circle, star, square, rectangle - in strong colors. It makes me smile. And it used up some scraps, which also makes me smile!
I made two more like this, but with a horizontal striped background - one in raspberry (PTI raspberry fizz) and one in orangey brown (PTI canyon clay) - using those colors for the sentiment and the center star's dot.
Card details:
- Card stock is Papertrey Ink (PTI) scarlet jewel (burgundy), limeade ice, enchanted evening (dark blue), stamper's select white, and the gingham print from PTI scarlet jewel pattern pack.
- Embossing folder is The Paper Studio tiny stars.
- Dies are PTI double-ended banner and cover plate: stars.
- The zigzag strip is from Doodlebug paper frills, lily white, discontinued.
- Small dots are punched with my very old 1/4" hole punch.
- The sentiment "hello" is from PTI winter woods, stamped with PTI scarlet jewel ink cube.
