Turquoise and Black Card - Diamond Pattern

Shades of turquoise with black. A simple diamond pattern.

I used my computer (PowerPoint) to make the black lines for my diamond pattern, which is intentionally uneven. After printing a full sheet of lines on Neenah, I cut a 1" x 4.5" strip, colored the diamonds with Copic markers, and then cut it into three 1" x 1.5" rectangles.

The marker colors are B01, BG05, BG32, and BG45, with B000, BG000, BG10, and B21 for shading and layering. The turquoise (Papertrey Ink Hawaiian shores) and black layers are on a white card base. The sentiment, "Thinking of you," is printed from the computer (Papyrus font) and underlined with Copic multiliner.

Created for Operation Write Home, "supporting our nation's armed forces by sending blank handmade greeting cards to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them." (036)
